Were excited to announce that oXya has earned ISO 50001:2018 certification for energy management at our French datacenters in Emerainville and Loos as of early 2023. This accomplishment was achieved in partnership with Vinci Energies and following audits by SOCOTEC and Dekra Certification.
Using the ISO 50001 framework, we implemented a structured approach to manage our energy usage efficiently. Weve established the guidelines and practical steps outlined in the standard, along with specific measures tailored for our datacenter operations.
In practice, we are now introducing a plan to track SEU (Significant Energy Use) in our data centers, focusing primarily on servers and cooling systems.
Our goal is to significantly cut energy consumption, especially in our IT systems.
A Major Step in Our Commitment
Receiving this certification from an independent body is an important milestone for oXya.
Annual audits will now assess the ongoing effectiveness of our energy management system and ensure we are continually reducing our carbon footprint.
Through this certification, we want to reinforce our dedication to building a sustainable future, both for our planet and for society.
